StarTimes Kenya is set to host a major Kung Fu festival at the KICC grounds on November fifth in an event that will be graced by Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone. The mega festival will be in line with celebrating one of StarTimes’ flagship channels – the Kung Fu channel.

According to a press release sent to Bizna, StarTimes will be seeking to blend Chinese and African culture in marking five years since the channel was introduced.  “The event will be a free entry family fun filled day with unmatched talent display in martial arts, music, comedy and much more,” said StarTimes Kenya.

During the festival, key local and East African musicians will perform, with Ugandan sensational Jose Chameleone being the lead act.

Other performing acts schedule to entertain during the festival include Jua Cali, Timmy TDat and Gloria Muliro. There will also be a Kung Fu troop from China which will perform alongside local Kung Fu clubs in a display of entertainment through skill and talent.

“We are promising our fans a great family event with lots of fan and prizes to be won,” added the StarTimes statement.
