Nyandarua County Governor Waithaka Mwangi has reshuffled his county cabinet.
The reshuffle comes as the governor reels from public outbursts following allegations that he spent Sh. 2 million on a shoddily arranged Christmas Tree which has been erected in Ol Kalou Town.
During a press briefing held on Wednesday, the governor denied spending Sh. 2 million on the tree. He instead said that the tree was a donation and amounted to around Sh. 16,000 with decorations amounting to around Sh. 12,000.
Below is the list of his reshuffled cabinet:
1). Roads, Public Works, and Transport: Geoffrey Mundia.
2). Communications, Legal, ICT and Inter-Governmental: Affairs: Julius K. Muthama
3).Cooperatives, Trade, Industrialization and Enterprise Development: Peter Gathimba.
4). Social Services: Peter Mbugua Kung’u
5). Tourism, Wildlife, Sports and Youth affairs: Judy N. Muhia
6). Lands, Housing and Physical Planning: Peter Gitau Thabanja
7). Education, Culture, and Social Services: Peter Macharia
8). Water, Energy, Environment and Natural Resources: Grace Wanjiru Gitonga
9). Agricluture, Fisheries and Livestock: Agatha Thuo
10) Finance and Economic Planning: Nderi Ndiani
