Former devolution cabinet secretary Anne Waiguru is headed for a major win in the Kirinyaga Jubilee primaries.

Already, Ms. Waiguru has crossed the 100,000 vote mark while her rivals, are far behind with deficits of over 60,000 votes.

For instance, by 9.30am, Ms. Waiguru had garnered 102,927 followed by Kirinyaga Central MP Joseph Gitari who had 44,745 with two polling stations yet to be counted. Kirinyaga Governor Joseph Ndathi had 19,078.
