1). Property Manager

A company engaging in development and management of commercial properties is seeking to hire an experienced Property Manager to oversee planning, coordination and implementation of all property management activities.

The successful candidate will earn a salary of between Sh. 175,000 and Sh. 200,000.

They’ll need to have the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Management/Land Economics or any other relevant field
  • 5-10 years of experience in Property Management
  • Must have managed at least 6-7 properties
  • Financial knowledge is desired
  • Excellent IT skills in reporting and analysis
  • Project Management experience will be an added advantage
  • Proven Managerial and Leadership skills

Their responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Daily Management, supervision and communication with building supervisors, maintenance and security teams to ensure premises are always operating insatiable and safe conditions
  • Schedule property viewings and organize marketing efforts in order to maximize occupancy of premises under management
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and partners and provide regular recommendations and advice to management to optimize operations
  • Responsible for timely rent collection and proper reporting to ensure arrears and bad debts are minimized
  • Assist in drafting and implementing procedures, processes and controls in conjunction with staff under supervision and other departments
  • Train, manage, supervise and evaluate staff including building supervisors, maintenance and security personnel
  • Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements including: fire safety, construction permits, certificate of occupation, business permits and timely land rates and rents
  • Maintain an updated database of suppliers, authorized contractors and service providers
  • Draft and present weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for management including reporting on tenancy matters, maintenance, repairs, security and other suggested improvements
  • In charge of setting up processes /procedures for building management

2). Retail Branch Manager

A chain of outpatient Medical Centres is looking to hire a Retail Branch Manager who will ensure that all the branches maintain quality customer service and are implementing set strategies to help achieve the targets set.

The successful candidate will take home a salary of between Sh. 60,000 to sh. 80,000 per month.

Their qualifications should be as follows:

  • A degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in Management
  • Experience managing branches is a plus
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be very organized.
  • Must have experience in product mix and selection.
  • Well knowledgeable on customer preferences and buying habits.
  • Must have had experience managing staff.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be willing to work on weekends or holidays when need arises

Their responsibilities will be:

  • Manage a team of excited and high performing staff.
  • Share feedback every day and create opportunities for them to grow into new roles
  • Grow the network from 3 to 50 clinics and hire the teams for the new branches
  • Support the roll out of new ideas in our branches.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers.
  • Closely monitor and supervise branches operations
  • Achieves set financial objectives and takes part in preparing annual budget.
  • Maintains the stability and reputation of the branches by complying with legal requirements.
  • Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
  • Provides feedback to the directors on the store’s performance.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and presents them to the directors.
  • Manage store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

3). Magazine Distribution Executive

A marketing agency engaged in brand advocacy seeks seek to hire a dynamic and result driven individual to fill the position of Magazine Distribution Executive.

The successful candidate will earn a monthly salary of between Sh. 30,000 and Sh. 35,000.

Their qualifications should be as follows:

  • Degree in Marketing/Sales or related field of study
  • At least 2 years of experience distributing magazine
  • Conversant with youth matters
  • Experience in distributing youth magazine in learning institutions is preferred
  • Positive attitude
  • Willing to travel a lot
  • Proven track-record of meeting sales targets
  • Strong team player
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, passionate
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

They will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

  • Supervise magazine distribution from the depot to all retail & school outlets
  • Ensure availability of magazine in every stall by retail outlet/school visiting
  • Supervise the Circulation of the Magazine on daily basis
  • Liaise with printers, trucking companies, contracted distributors in magazine circulation
  • Develop strategies to ensure growth of circulation and subscription database
  • Prepare weekly reports and present findings and concerns to Senior Management
  • Prepare any and all reports for magazine audit company
  • Provide marketing and promotion ideas aimed at increasing magazine sales & subscriptions
  • Manage merchandizing/magazine display at all outlets/schools nationally Liaise and manage vendors to make sure they are adequately handled
  • Create & manage Below-The-Line events aimed at increasing sales
  • Advice the Distributor and Agents on Order Quantities to minimize return levels
