Mombaa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has denied scoring a mean grade of D- (Minus) in his KCSE examinations.

This is after a KCSE certificate circulated on social media purporting to show that Joho got a low grade of D-.

Speaking through Mombasa County Director of Communications Richard Chacha, the Governor said that the name on the certificate is not his.

“The name on the certificate is Ali Hassan while my name is Hassan Ali Joho,” said Mr. Chacha.

The certificate showed a candidate identified as Ali Hassan who sat for his KCSE at Sereni Secondary School in 1993.

For a long while now, Governor Joho has been dogged with claims of forging education certificate or accused of being an education dwarf.
