Eleven people have died after a bus collided with a truck at Sogea along the Naivasha-Gilgil highway, area OCPD Emmanuel Opuru has confirmed.
According to Mr Opuru, the bus was trying to overtake another vehicle when it collided with the truck coming from the opposite direction.
The bus was travelling from Vihiga and was headed to Nairobi.
Several passengers were seriously injured and rushed to Gilgil Sub County Hospital.
