NASA leader Raila Odinga has withdrawn from the October 26 presidential election.

The NASA leader announced this move on Tuesday afternoon at the Okoa Kenya offices in Nairobi.

Mr. Odinga had announced that he would not take part in the upcoming general elections unless his demands had been met.

It is not yet clear how his withdrawal will affect the upcoming general election.

The NASA coalition termed its decision to withdraw from the upcoming election as the only way a free and fair election can be achieved.

“The only election Jubilee is interested in is one that it must win, even unlawfully,” said Raila.
