Jubilee nominations in Nyandarua County were on Friday morning hit by massive delays and cases of missing names.

In Ol Kalou Constituency’s main polling station at Ol Kalou Primary School, the voting exercise was suspended after reports emerged that names from the letters M, N and G were missing.

With tensions growing, the police were called to the school grounds.

Voters at Mutamiyu in Kinangop were reported to have gone back home after extensive delays in the delivery of voting materials.

By the time of publishing, many areas in the county were yet to start the voting process.

The delays and missing names provided room for speculation, with some quarters alleging that the mishaps were deliberate rigging attempts.
