Mombasa-based actor Dan Kinyanjui recently lost his wife, Druscillah Walowe Mngoda who is popularly known as Dru Sonko.
The beautiful mother of one passed away as she gave birth to her second born child. As details of her death continue to emerge, the turn of events depict a sad and unfortunate demise of a woman who was regarded as bubbly and fun to be around.
After she was rushed to hospital to deliver her child, things took a turn for the worse and Dru was rushed to theater for an emergency C-Section.
Moments after giving birth, Dru is reported to have suffered a system failure. Apparently, body was unable to create any platelets following weak brain signals to the rest of her organs. She was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
While at the Aga Khan, her husband called on Kenyans to join him in praying for his wife’s health. He said:

On Sunday, Dan posted:

Unfortunately, Dru didn’t make it.
